Yahoo Plus: The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission have arrested a suspected Internet fraudster and recovered several fetish items from him.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) Lagos Zonal Command has arrested one Michael Jackson (Pictured below) for his alleged participation in internet fraud.

On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, he was arrested after the Commission received credible intelligence about the illegal activities of some individuals allegedly involved in computer-related fraud.
Items recovered from him includes fetish items like several calabashes and a bottle of Palm oil.

Obviously these fetish items are spiritual elements used to positively influence the outcome of their cyber crimes. It is known as Yahoo Plus.
Yahoo Plus is a new trend in cybercrime which involves combining spiritual components with internet browsing to increase the success rate of cybercrime.

Previously, cybercrime such as online financial fraud was more common among youngsters, regardless of their educational level. However, in recent years, it has evolved into a new phenomena that combines spiritual components with Internet surfing.

Jackson, who poses as Ella, a transgender woman, allegedly defrauded unsuspecting victims of millions of Naira.
The suspect, who also claimed to be a Disc Jockey, DJ, claimed the fetish items in his possession are needed “for grace and success.”
