Reactions Trail Viral Photo Of Ukrainian Woman Who Survived Russian Shelling With Her 1-month-old boy

Reactions have continued to trail the photo of a woman and her one-month-old baby after both of them survived a Russian shelling of their Kyiv residence.

According to Anastasiia Lapatina, a reporter with the Kyiv Independent, the woman simply identified as Olga, covered her one-month-old baby girl with her body during a Russian shelling of her residence in Kyiv.

In a tweet via her verified Twitter page, Anastasiia revealed that Olga was severely injured as a result of the shelling, although the baby wasn’t harmed.

She also revealed that the family is now being treated at Ohmatdyt hospital in Kyiv.

Reacting to the touching photo of Olga and her baby, one of Anastasiia’s followers wrote;

“My hearts breaks more and more each day for the brave people of the Ukraine. Russians need to be informed and rebel.”

Another Twitter user said;

“God willing, they will smile again, in a free and independent Ukraine and they will teach that sweet baby the value of freedom and what they had to go through to have it!”

Another wrote;

“Grateful they both made it through… I cannot begin to imagine the fear & all the mental trauma these people are living through. I just want it to stop. May they find peace & happiness again in their homes on their own land.”

In one of the latest update on the Russia Ukraine War, CNN reported that a statement published on the Mariupol municipal council’s Telegram channel, revealed that Russian forces attacked an art school that was being utilized as a shelter in the besieged city of Mariupol.

According to the council, about 400 people were refuge in the structure, which was damaged in the attack.

The number of casualties is still unknown, but many are still trapped beneath the rubble.

It’s still unclear how many people survived Wednesday’s attack on a theater in the city.

The word “children” was boldly emblazoned on the theater in enormous Russian letters that could be seen from the air. The number of individuals inside at the time of the attack is estimated to be between 800 and 1,300.
