A lady who was identified as Aisha Hassan have been arrested by Delta State Police Command officers for allegedly drugging an Okada rider and stealing his motorcycle.
DSP Edafe Bright, the state police spokesperson, said in a statement that the Area command got a report on February 23 at about 2.30pm that an Okada rider (Name withheld) transported the suspect and one other who pretended to be passengers to Kenu guest house in Bonsaac.
According to Edafe, the victim indicated that when they arrived at the hotel, the lady brought out a drink for them to sip, unaware that sleeping pills and suspected hard drugs had been added to the drink.

“After drinking, he fell asleep, and when he awoke, he realized that the suspects had stolen his red color unregistered KC Sanya motorcycle with Engine No. 162FMJ510828953, chasis No. IPCKL11M1018611, valued at N330,000.00.”
“After lodging the complaint, Asaba ACP Nuhu Hamidu, the Area Commander, dispatched Police detectives to conduct an investigation and ensure that the alleged offenders wree apprehended.”
“As a result, the team launched an intelligence-led investigation and arrested Aisha Hassan, one of the suspects.”
“The motorcycle was later found to have been taken to an unknown place by her gang member,” Edafe stated.
