In Kenya, Ruiru detectives have launched a manhunt for one Benjamin Munene Ndiang’ui, who stabbed his madam last night before fleeing with an undisclosed sum of money.

According to Directorate of Criminal Investigation, Ndiang’ui, who had been hired as a driver by Jane Muraguri of the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) in Nairobi, took her to a remote location near ClayWorks on the Thika expressway, where he stabbed her in the face many times.

The driver, after committing the dastardly act then transfered an undisclosed sum of money from his employer’s Mpesa account before fleeing on foot, leaving a blood-stained kitchen knife behind.
Madame Muraguri was rescued by a guard from the BM security business, who transported her to Kenyatta University Hospital in critical condition. Her right eye, nostrils, and mouth were all severely injured.
A manhunt for the driver is currently underway, with DCI Ruiru sleuths leading the way.
