Boko Haram: Rescued Chibok School Girls Wear New Look In New Photos

Hauwa Joseph and Mary Dauda (Ngoshe), the two rescued girls from the Government Girls Secondary School Chibok, are now in good health, according to Nigerian military officials.

Yesterday, Gallant Military Info reported that Nigerian Army troops rescued two (2) Chibok School girls in different parts of Borno State. The two girls were rescued after spending almost nine (9) years in Boko Haram captivity.

The girls are currently undergoing medical evaluation at the 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital (DMSH), according to intelligence sources.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region, also confirmed the report that the girls are currently at the 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital (DMSH).

According to the sources “They are stable, but Mrs. Hauwa Joseph and her child Usman are showing signs of malnutrition as a result of the tremendous hardships they endured in Boko Haram captivity.

“It was also established that prior to their kidnapping, both girls were close friends at GGSS Chibok, their school, and had never met while in captivity.

“Both of the girls could not hide their joy since they are grateful for all the help they have received from the Nigerian Army.”

According to reliable military sources, they would be handed over to the Borno state government for rehabilitation and reunification with their families.
