TheĀ Kano State Police Command says it has recovered and returned some stolen vehicles to their rightful owners in the State.
The state’s Commission of Police, in a statement by its spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa said a total of ten (10) Motor Vehicles were recovered after the arrest one Odinaka Godwin, and two others who were caught in possession of nine (9) Pairs of Motor Vehicles number plates.

Kiyawa said seven (7) of the recovered stolen vehicles were handed over to their owners by the Commissioner of Police, while the following motor vehicles are yet to be claimed:
i. Toyota Camry LE Motor Vehicle, Ekiti, Golden Color, Registration Number ADK-885AE
ii. Toyota RAV4 Motor Vehicle in Black with Lagos Registration Number APP-35BP.
iii. Toyota Camry LE, ash color, no registration number.

Additionally the police spokesperson said discreet investigation also led to the arrest of one Abdulra’uf Olalade, ‘m’, 57 years old Fagge Quarters Kano. His accomplices, Abdullahi Suleman, ‘m’, 52 years old of Kurna Quarters Kano, and Suleman Ibrahim, ‘m’, 57 years old Haye Hotoron Arewa Quarters Kano were arrested.

He noted that the suspects admitted to specializing in the production of forged motor vehicle documents.
