Nigerian Police DPO Spends Christmas Day With Suspects, Treats Them To Christmas Rice, Chicken And Soft Drinks.
On Christmas Day, a Divisional Police Officer (Police DPO) identified by those who knows him as Felix ‘umache’ Ekpoudom, in Akwa Ibom was photographed eating with some suspects in his station.
Soft drinks were supplied with the meal, which featured white rice and stew.
The suspects were 4 in number, 3 were having only their boxers on, while one was fully clothed.

A police officer stood behind the suspects in images that went viral, as the DPO spoke with the men.

Reacting to the viral photos, a Facebook user identified simply as Patrick Tony Edem made a comment that shows he’s well aware of the good deeds of the same DPO. He also requested The Punch News to be fair and publish the name of the said DPO for all to see.
He wrote;
“Punch News paper his name is Felix ‘umache’ Ekpoudom thank you for appreciating him but please mention his name. When they do Good we should mention their names as well.”
“He is one of the few good police officer I know, that applies Wisdom, commonsense and professionalism in his work. He is humble too and has some good vibes.”

Another Facebook user identified as Ndidiamaka Paul wrote;
“Please let this love continue to exist amongst our uniform men and the citizens. It doesn’t stop the law enforcement agencies to still carry out their duties effectively. Let’s change hands and watch God do wonders in our lives.”

“Who knows if we apply love in exchange with hate, all the troubles in Nigeria might come to the barest level. There is nothing wrong in a police officer smilling with the accused and yet carry out the interrogation, than the type of point and kill attitude we witnessed every now and then.”
