Osun Bank Robbery – The Western Nigeria Security Network, codenamed Amotekun have arrested a notorious robbery gang leader alongside some members of his gang.

The notorious robbery gang leader was arrested on Tuesday alongside three others.
Reports reveal that the group have been terrorizing residents and students of Uni-Osun Okuku Campus area.

According to information gathered by Gallant Military Info, one of the suspects, Kehinde Babalola, 23, confessed that he was the leader of the gang.
Babalola, who hails from Ogbomosho LGA of Oyo State, confessed that he led the recent robbery attack on Wema Bank in Okuku, Osun State.
It would be recalled that the Wema Bank robbery was widely publicized with Vanguard reporting that about N600,000 was carted away by the armed robbers.
The robbers reportedly stormed the bank around 3:10 pm on March 12, 2021. They blasted their way into the bank using dynamites.
The 23 year old also confessed to have led robbery operations in Ibadan, Ile-ife and Okuku in Osun State.
Another member of the crime syndicate, Timileyin Afolabi (pictured below).

The 19 year old Afolabi hails from Ado-Ekiti. He also confessed to have take part in some robbery activities with the gang.
The 4 suspects have since been handed over to the DSS for further investigation.
