In recent months, popular Yoruba movie star, Olaiya Igwe has been in the news on different occasions for the wrong reasons.
First he prostrated for Lagos State NURTW branch chairman Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo after the later gave him a car as a surprise gift.
Olaiya, as he’s popularly called, rolled on the floor and prostrated to appreciate MC Oluomo for the kind gesture, a move that was followed by an uproar on social media.
Not long after that, netizens again expressed disappointment in Olaiya Igwe when he recommended Portable to MC Oluomo.
A video that emerged from Portable’s visit to MC Oluomo captured Olaiya Igwe recommending the singer to the Lagos state transportation boss.
According to the veteran actor, Portable is a generous man who has taken after MC Oluomo’s generosity and principles of giving even when you don’t have enough.
This statement generated angry reactions from netizens who dragged Portable and Olaiya Igwe for their courtesy visit to MC Oluomo.

The latest controversy that has angered many is the veteran actor’s new video, which has since gone viral.
In the video, Olaiya Igwe stripped himself as he prayed at the beach for the electoral victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The video captured the veteran actor from behind stripped.
He turned around and was caught in a headshot as he prayed to the ocean for Tinubu’s victory.
In his caption, Olaiya revealed that it is his pleasure to support a candidate who truly reflects our values and highest ideals.
Olaiya noted that he believes that BAT would be the best to protect our dreams and fight hard to keep the promise of Nigeria for the next generation.
“It is my pleasure to support a candidate who truly reflects our values and highest ideals. There is one candidate in this election who will protect that dream.
“One leader who will fight hard to keep the promise of Nigeria for the next generation. And that’s why we must stand up and make ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU JAGABAN the next president of Nigeria,” he said.
