Ibrahim Saidu, a 25-year-old man have reportedly been arrested by police in Gombe State for fatally stabbing an Okada rider.
It was revealed that Saidu became enraged after the Okada rider accidentally hit his dog.
Ishola Babaita, the Commissioner of Police, said the suspect was arrested by agents from the Akko Division police station in the state on Tuesday.
“Saidu stabbed Saleh Babayo, after the victim accidentally knocked down his dog with his motorcycle,” according to the CP.

Babayo was brought to the General Hospital in Kumo, where he was pronounced dead, according to Babaita.
The suspect admitted to the crime and would be charged in court, according to the police chief.
According to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN), the dog survived the incident and was displayed beside Saidu.
In another news, five people were also arrested for kidnapping, and two more were arrested for impersonation and rape.
Two cutlasses and one AK 47 with three rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition were recovered from the criminals.
The suspects are expected to be arraigned in the near future.
