Nigerian soldiers killed the 11 terrorists during an aggressive clearance operation in Tudun Kura and Lebe villages in Borno State on Friday, the 28th of January, 2022.
The Special Response Squad of Theartre Commander Operation Hadin Kai, led by Saminu Audu, has killed 11 ISWAP terrorists in Borno State’s Mafa Local Government Area,

This was revealed in a series of tweets by Zagazola, a Twitter handle that reports about the Nigerian military operations against Boko Haram in North East Nigeria.

The militants were killef in Pitawale, Tudun Kura, and Lebe villages on Friday during an aggressive clearance operation undertaken by the squad with backing from Nigerian military forces from the 195 Battallion.

According to an intelligence officer, the terrorists engaged the forces in an intense gun battle as they advanced on one of the Pitawale camps. The military defeated them and killed 11 of them, while others were wounded by gunshots and managed to flee.


After hearing sounds of military motorcycles approaching, more terrorists in Tundun Kure and Lebe abandoned their camps and took to their heels.

According to the source of this news, this valiant team has regularly removed Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists in the axis of Jere, Maidugiri-Mafa, Damaturu Maiduguri Road, Borno Yesu Magumeri, and Goniri in the axis of Auno over the past one month.
