Nicholas Irving the reaper was born in Fort Meade, Maryland, and from all indications, it seems he was brought into this world to serve. Both of his parents were enlisted soldiers at the time.

His first stop was at the Navy recruiting office, where he intended to join the Navy SEALs. However, he failed a colorblindness test and instead joined the United States Army Rangers.

Nick Irving the reaper served in Iraq and Afghanistan on many occasions throughout his active military service. He became an household name after his military record of 33 verified kills in a single tour.

He accomplished this while serving in Afghanistan as a sniper and machine gunner. At that time, he established himself as one of the most lethal Army Rangers in the US history.

Irving was dubbed “The Reaper” by his fellow Rangers because of his ability to kill.

During his deployment in Afghanistan, he gained the alias “The Reaper” after killing 33 enemies in less than four months. His kill number might easily be in the triple digits, according to unsubstantiated reports.

Irving has been plagued by dreams since his military retirement, dating back to the day of his first kill. His life has been a roller coaster of drunkenness, PTSD, and suicidal thoughts, including a failed attempt, since then.

Irving claims there is now a light at the end of the tunnel; his wife gave birth to the couple’s first child in November 2016, and he has been clean and sober since.
