Mmesoma, notorious ESN commander captured, says he left esn to form his own group [Video]

The Nigerian Police Special Forces team have arrested one Mmesoma, an alleged leader of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN) in their camp at Awo Idemmili border, near Orlu in Imo State.

Mmesoma was arrested after one of his followers, who was initially arrested by the police, led the police to his hideout.

In a video posted earlier by Gallant Military Info, an arrested member of the unknown gunmen group identified as Chinansa told the police that Mmesoma was the group’s leader that have been terrorizing the State.

Mmesoma, who was later arrested by the security agents after sustaining gunshot injuries in an encounter with the police team, confessed that he had since left ESN to form his own group after a misunderstanding.

Items susch as explosives, shotguns and stolen vehicles were recovered from Mmesoma. Also some of the gang members were killed and sent to be with their ancestors during an encounter with the police.
