Niger man kills cousin for sleeping with his wife in his matrimonial bed, says this is not his first time.

The police in Niger state have arrested one Tambaya Usman, a 30-years-old man who hails from Jaguwa village, Rafi LGA for allegedly killing his cousin, Umar Musa.

According to a statement released by Niger state police public relations officer, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, Tambaya was arrested by police operatives from Kagara Division for the culpable homicide of his cousin, one Umar Musa, 28 years old of the same address.

During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the murder, claiming that he caught the deceased having sexual intercourse in his room with his wife, one Hajo Gambo Tambaya, aged 22yrs.

According to the statement by the police, they all live in the same residence.

After catching his cousin in the dastardly act, the suspect allegedly inflicted a machete cut on the deceased’s head, resulting in his death.

He also stated that he had caught the deceased in the same conduct multiple times, and that their parents and relatives had intervened and warned the deceased to stop.

He claimed the deceased later apologized and pledged never to do such a thing again, but he was surprised when he caught him again, prompting his action.

The suspect has been charged and arraigned in court.
