Lagos man arrested for killing and using his own blood brother for money ritual, says his mum encouraged him to do so.
Afeez Olalere, 32, was reportedly arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for killing his younger brother for money rituals.
After being caught by police during a stop-and-search operation along Itamaga, Ikorodu Road, in Lagos, the accused internet fraudster made the surprising confession.
“My mother took me to a herbalist,” he explained, “who informed me that if I want to be successful in the Yahoo Yahoo business, I’ll have to sacrifice one life, and that person must be a sibling.”
“We returned home after some considerations, and my mother suggested that we use my younger brother, who is only 21 years old,” he said.
He revealed that his mother persuaded him to murder his 21-year-old brother, which he accomplished using poison.
Afeez went on to say that his brother died 20 minutes after ingesting the poisonous substance which his mum prepared for him.

He then proceeded to harvest the required body parts he needed for the money ritual.
After committing the dastardly act, he wrapped up the remains of his late brother and on his way transporting the body to the mortuary, he was apprehended by the police.
“His thumbs, hair, fingers, and a passport photograph are the things we needed in order to prepare for the money ritual concoction,” he says.
