The Lagos state rapid response squad have announced the arrest of a machete wielding armed robber during a robbery operation in Lagos.
According to a statement by the law enforcement agency, the suspect was arrested at about 11: 45 p.m. yesterday, Wednesday the 7th of December, 2022.
The Machete Wielding Armed Robber has been identified as Wasiu Ajepe, a 30 years old man.

Before his arrest by RRS patrol team, Ajepe was said to be wielding a machete, in company of two armed others (now at large) while robbing the driver and motor boy of a broken down PMS laden tanker after Ojota Bridge, Ketu inward Berger.
Ajepe, a resident of 21, Taiwo Street, off China Town, Ogudu confessed to be the leader of a clique operating around China Town, MKO Garden, Ojota Bridge and Motorways at night and dawn.
Efforts are on to arrest his two other gang members.
