Again, Lt. Col. Ishaya Manga leads troops to victory against Boko Haram insurgents in Borno

Lt. Col. Ishaya Manga has once again led his men through hostile area to victory in a pivotal fight against Boko Haram.

As a result, he has significantly supported our nation in achieving yet another success in the war against insurgency.

This triumph resulted in the annihilation of Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists from Wajiroko in Damboa, Borno State, as well as the rescuing of women and children.

His win also sparked a wave of confidence and patriotism across the country at a time when it was greatly needed.

According to the report gathered by Gallant Military Info, Lt. Col. Ishaya Manga led the 134 Special Forces battalion patrol to successfully decimated Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists from Wajiroko in Damboa, Borno State, and rescued women and Children.

According to a source, Boko Haram Terrorist had recently mounted checkpoints at wajiroko, an area located between Damboa and Biu. They also mounted checkpoints at Yaksuri, a mountainous area located about six(6) km to the South of Wajiroko in Borno State.

The insurgents, according to the source, set up camps at this location utilising Multe and Furfur villages as their supply routes for food, fuel and other necessary things they needed for survival.

Upon receiving inteligence information about the large terrorist camping in these locations, Lt. Col. Ishaya Manga and his team stormed the area and successfully cleared the terrorists’ positions.

Additionally, Lt. Col. Manga’s troops with air support from the Nigerian Air Force also successfully cleared Ambiya Tasha and Ndoksa villages located East of Buni Gari in Yobe and its vicinity, killing many terrorists in the operation that lasted for a week.
