Delta State Police have arrested three notorious kidnapping and armed robbery suspects after they were allegedly recognized by their victim a day after kidnapping incidence.
According to a report by Sahara Repoters, the three notorious kidnapping and armed robbery suspects were apprehended in Delta State’s Agbarha community, Ughelli North Local Government Area, and Bayelsa State’s Sagbama Local Government Area.

The culprits who reportedly fled after committing the crime, ran out of luck when their victim recognized them a day after and contacted the police, who apprehended them.
In a statement signed on Wednesday by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, the suspects were confirmed to have been arrested and were currently in the custody of the police in the state.

“On the 22nd of January 2022, at around 2130 hours, a kidnapped victim (name withheld) of Uvwiana road, Agbarha, stated that he was kidnapped along Esiso street, Agbarho,” he said.
The kidnapped victim went on to say that he escaped his kidnappers while being transferred to another vehicle.
According to the statement my the police, on January 23, 2022, at approximately 0930 hours, the kidnapped victim spotted one of the hoodlums that kidnapped him and immediately alerted the DPO Agbarho Division, CSP Samuel Ogwa, who quickly mobilized and led police operatives to the area where the suspect named Godstime Rufus “M” aged 22 years of Esiso street Agbarho was arrested.
Following additional interrogation and investigation, the suspect led operatives to their hideout, where they arrested two other suspects, Stanley Efeme “M” of NEPA Line and Davidson Esiso “M” of no. 25 Osah Street Agbarho, both of whom were recognized by the victim. The investigation is still going on.
