Tijjani Abubakar, a young Nigerian man, allegedly attempted suicide on February 15 after his beloved fiancée broke up with him.
According to reports, Tijjani, who is from Nasarawa local government area in Kano state sells mobile phones for a living in an area known as Farm Centre.

The young man is said to have attempted suicide by drinking a deadly chemical when the lady he was planning to marry rejected him.
Tijani have been grooming the young girl for himself, according to sources, until she decided to end their relationship.

Tijani was heartbroken when his lover informed him that she was no longer interested in the relationship.
He was so broken that he attempted suicide. Thankfully, his friends and neighbors rallied round to prevent him from killing himself.

In a related development, a man reportedly shot his wife dead after she refuses to have sex with him.
Charles Soglo, a 31-year-old farmer, shot his wife, Doris Amoah, in the chest and attempted suicide over her refusal to have sex with him.
According to MyJoyOnline, the incident occurred in Ghana’s Ashanti Region, at Adansi Nyakumase.

Soglo is said to have tried to commit suicide after killing his 21-year-old wife.
Chief Superintendent Yaw Ohene, the Takyi Adansi Fomena District Police Commander, confirmed the incident, adding, “Charles Soglo shot his hands and lost two fingers, and then shot his chest.”
“When a squad of officers arrived on the scene, his wife had already been taken to the hospital. The man was then taken to the hospital by the authorities.”
