Images from last night’s Kagoro Attack provide indisputable and shocking evidence of the scale of attack on the Southern Kaduna town by suspected Fulani Herdsmen.
Kagoro is a significant town in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, located in southern Kaduna State. It’s in the Kaura Local Government Area, and it’s a Christian-dominated town. The cool temperature and relatively high altitude attract a large number of missionaries.

Images captured after Sunday night’s Kagoro attack illustrate the catastrophic impact of the attack, which damaged or destroyed hundreds of structures (buildings) and killed 25 over people.

A DAILY POST report revealed that an insider told its correspondence that the suspected Fulani Herdsmen who attacked the community killed over 15 people.

“I was able to count and get roughly 15 persons killed outside their homes,” the insider said. There is a chance that some of those deceased were killed in their homes, while others may have died in the bushes as a result of gunshot wounds.

“The destruction made by the attackers last night (Sunday) is so terrifying as the suspected Fulani militias came in their large numbers and well organised. They came with sophisticated weapons and carried out their acts of destroying both lives, houses and property of the natives.”
