According to PRNigeria, the Nigerian military bombardment of terrorist hideouts near Lake Chad have resulted in the killing of many ISWAP terrorists, with another 25 drowning in the Marte River as a result of their inability to swim.
Twenty-five ISWAP terrorists have reportedly died in a deep river in the Marte axis of the Lake Chad in the North East, while fleeing from Nigerian military bombings.

Military fighter jets, including Super Tucanos from the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), reportedly ‘aggressively’ bombed Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) facilities on Wednesday and Thursday in a weeklong sustained aerial attack, according to PRNigeria.
The aircraft bomed camps and warehouses used by ISWAP terrorists to store their ammo and weaponry, according to an intelligence operator embedded in the local community.
“Bombardments by military jets were launched simultaneously at Bukar Mairam and Jubularam, Abbaganaram, and Chikul gudu, resulting in the explosion of warehouses and the deaths of several militants.”
“Those who survived the explosions at Bukar Mairam and Jubulram, on the other hand, fled and attempted to cross a river within the Lake Chad axis.” About 25 of them drowned as a result of their inability to swim,” he continued.
He also told PRNigeria that recent air bombardments by the Nigerian military have had an impact on ISWAP’s operational command, hindering the group’s plans to strike military units in the Northeast.
