A suspected Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) suicide bomber has reportedly detonated a bomb at a Burukutu joint in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State injuring 5 people last night according to multiple sources.
Channels TV sources confirmed that the unfortunate incident occured at a local gin hangout (Burukuti Joints) close to the home of a District Head in Jalingo the Taraba State capital.
Despite the fact that no one was killed in the blast, some of the victims are said to have lost consciousness.
The explosion happened immediately after a suspected suicide bomber arrived at the scene, dumped a polythene bag, and vanished, according to an eyewitness who talked to Channels Television.
He went on to say that some of the children who witnessed the alleged suicide bomber were unable to talk until after the explosion.

The victims, on the other hand, have been taken to a hospital for treatment.
Neither the police nor the Taraba state government has made any statement or remark regarding the incident whichnis the second of it’s kind in 3 days.
However, intelligence reports revealed earlier that, suspected suicide bombers are expected to attack any of the drinking joints in Kasuwan Bera, Nukkai, Mayo Dasa, or Mile Six Market.
The latest bombing is coming just days after a bomb exploded in a drinking joint near a livestock market in Iware Community, a neighborhood of the state’s Ardo-Kola Local Government Area, where six people were confirmed dead, while at least 19 more were said to have been injured.
Meanwhile, ISWAP, the Islamic State-affiliated extremists have claimed responsibility for the attack.
