Israeli troops assassinated a Palestinian cell of three members in Nablus, responsible for several drive-by shootings in the northern West Bank in recent weeks, police and Shin Bet say.
Israeli troops have reportedly killed three Palestinians in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus on Tuesday during an operation against a “terrorist group,” according to Israel.
The three deaths have also been confirmed by the Palestinian health ministry and Israel’s border police.

The victims were “armed terrorists who were killed during a confrontation with security agents,” according to border police. The three were accused of being behind recent shooting attacks on Israeli forces and civilians, according to the report.

It was also said that no Israelis were injured as a result of the operation.
Two of the dead were named as Adham Mabrouk and Muhammad Al-Dakhil, according to sources in Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas’ Fatah movement, who added that they were members of the violent Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.

“Israeli troops in a civilian car stopped a Palestinian vehicle and directly fired at it, killing three young boys,” according to a Palestinian security source.
The bullet-riddled vehicle was captured on video by onlookers.
As the remains of the three were taken out of Rafidia hospital in Nablus, hundreds of Palestinians thronged the streets.
The city is located in the northwestern part of the West Bank, a Palestinian territory that Israel has occupied since the 1967 Six-Day War. It is a hotbed of unrest.
