Unknown Gunmen suspected of being members of the proscribed IPOB/ESN attacked and burnt down two operational vehicles belonging to the Nigerian military.
Unknown gunmen believed to be members of IPOB/ESN allegedly attacked and burned down two military operational vehicle at Udema CP in Ebony state a few days ago.
One of the soldiers was forced inside one of the burning cars, according to security analyst and counterinsurgency expert Zagazola (@ZagazOlaMakama on Twitter), while two other soldiers are still missing in action (MIA).



In a video posted via Zagazola Twitter handle, the unknown gunmen have already done the damage before a reinforcement team could get to the scene of the attack.
While the operational vehicle was still burning, soldiers could be heard in the video mourning their colleagues after the unfortunate attack.

Unknown gunmen suspected of being IPOB/ESN members have on several occasions clashed with Nigerian security personnel in the south east, resulting in deaths on both sides.
Several times in the south eastern part of the country, government infrastructure has been targeted and burned down.
Innocent lives have also been lost as a result of the region’s insecurity.
IPOB wants Biafra to be an independent country and claims to be a nonviolent organization, despite its acts.
