Imo Jailbreak: A prisoner who escaped from Imo State Correctional Facility have been rearrested in Aboh village, Ndokwa-East Local Government Area of Delta State
The Intelligence Squad of the State Police Command have reportedly rearrested a 27-year-old jailbreaker from the Imo State Correctional Facility and a murder suspect from the gang that assassinated CSP Chris Kpatuma, who retired from the Delta State Police Command as Officer-in-Charge (Legal).

The murder suspect, Chukwudi Emerenin, who failed to flee with his gang during a police raid on their hideout in Aboh village, Ndokwa-East Local Government Area of Delta State, revealed that the late Chris Kpatuma was a relative of his.

According to the suspect, Kpatuma was killed in Agwa Clan, Oguta Council Area of Imo State because the he posed a threat to their gang’s alleged struggle for Biafra actualization.
According to a statement signed by Delta State Police Command spokesperson Bright Edafe, Chukwudi Emerenin, 27, is also suspected to be a part of the syndicate that beheaded a vigilante officer in Owerri and turned the severed head into a football.
While noting that a manhunt has begun to catch other members of the syndicate, the statement reassured Delta State citizens of appropriate security.
