1- Keep them with trusted relatives.
2- Don’t leave them alone.
3- Keep them engaged like giving them books to
4- Keep all sharp objects away.
5- Take leave if you can.
6- Give them rules on what to do and what not to do e.g don’t go close to the gas cooker or try to ON the generator.
7- No visitors you are not aware of should be allowed in your absence
8- If you can, install a CCTV in your home that you can monitor through your phone.
9- Give your children phone with your numbers or trusted relatives numbers they can call if there’s any emergency.
10- Don’t s end them errands unnecessarily.
11- Don’t force them to stay with who they are not comfortable with.
