“Today, 23 April 2022, the command received a report of an unfortunate incident at Adavi Police Division, where some hoodlums attacked the station from the opposite direction, shooting sporadically, but were repelled by the men on duty and operatives of the Quick Response Unit who were on special operations at the local government,” he said.
“However, three of the command’s policemen were killed in the gunfight, and the hoodlums fled with gunshot wounds because they couldn’t get into the station.”
“The Commissioner of Police, Edward Egbuka, promptly dispatched a team of tactical operatives to the area to restore normalcy and also to go after the criminals with the goal of apprehending and prosecuting them.”
“The Commissioner of Police is using this means to urge the residents of Adavi and the surrounding areas to be vigilant and report any body spotted with bullet wounds to the police or other security authorities closest to them,” he said.
