Establishment of Air Force Military Schools in Nigeria

It became clear that there was a need to establish and manage schools for the children of Service personnel due to the ever-growing number of officers and airmen and the frequent posting of NAF employees to different locations at different times. For this reason, a policy directive was issued to create NAF primary and secondary schools in all major NAF formations across the country.

This article gives a comprehensive list of primary and secondary schools that are being operated by the Nigerian Air Force.

How many Air Force primary schools do we have in Nigeria?

The Nigerian Air Force has 20 primary schools across the country as listed below:

  • 1.      Air Force Primary School 1 Ikeja, Lagos
  • 2.      Air Force Primary School Victoria Island
  • 3.      Air Force Primary School Enugu, Enugu State
  • 4.      Air Force Primary School Kaduna, Kaduna

There are 13 Air Force Secondary Schools in Nigeria. Although there are two (2) famous Air Force Military Schools that stand out and serves as a model for the other Air Force Secondary Schools. These are as follows:

How to apply for Admission into any of the Air Force Secondary Schools listed above

First step is purchase a scratch card with PIN before you can proceed with the registration. The application form or the PIN can be purchased at any Air force secondary and primary schools in Nigeria.

You’ll then be asked to verify the pin on any of the two websites provided below;

Either you visit ? http://www.nafec.org.ng/pd/verify_pin_two.php for application for admission into JSS1 of AFMS Jos or you visit ? http://www.nafec.org.ng/pd/verify_pin_three.php for application for admission into JSS1 of any of the 12 aforementioned Air Force Secondary Schools.
