PACHUTA, CLARKE COUNTY – A one-vehicle accident on Highway 18 near the Interstate 59 off-ramp prompted emergency personnel to react.
According to CCHT, the driver, who was extremely tired, took the exit ramp and attempted to turn right towards Pachuta, but the vehicle continued across Highway 18 and fell into the ditch after colliding with a tree.

The driver claimed she had no idea what had transpired and was assessed by ParaTech EMS but not taken to a hospital.
The situation was attended by Clarke County Sheriff Deputies, Pachuta Fire Department, and Scott’s Towing.
There were no other vehicles or people hurt.
