Operatives of the Nigeria Police in Delta State have announced the arrest of one Innocent Uboh, a native of Ogume in Ndokwa West L.G.A, Delta State, for being in possession of 1,124 live cartridges in Delta State.
The arrested suspects was said to be driving a Toyota Hiace bus with reg. no FGG 645 ZV, when operatives attached to the Command’s Safe Delta Tactical Squad intercepted him during a stop and search duty at the head-bridge boundary between Delta State and Anambra State.

According to the police public relations officer of Delta State, DSP Bright Edafe, the driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was searched, and one thousand one hundred and twenty-four (1124) rounds of live cartridges and twenty (20) bottles of illicit substances were in the vehicle.
The suspect stated that the cartridges belonged to one Monday Adibeli a 61-year-old man from Ogume.
Operatives were dispatched to Ogume based on this information, where the suspected owner of the cartridges was apprehended. Investigation into the matter is still going on according to the police.
