Death of Davido’s Son: At least nine persons, including Ifeanyi’s nanny and cook, have been reportedly arrested by the police in Lagos State in connection with his death.
Recall that Ifeanyi, the three years old son of singer Davido, drowned on Monday, October 31, 2022, inside the family’s swimming pool in Banana Island, Lagos.
It was gathered that both Davido and chef Chioma were on a trip, when the unfortunate incident occurred.
According to a source, “About nine people have been arrested for negligence, including his nanny and their cook. Chioma is broken. David is in tears.
“They are both at his dad’s house in Lekki and nobody from 30BG is allowed there. His 30th birthday plans have been put on hold.
“The real story is crazy. How the kid opened a huge thick door and got outside, nobody knows. The arrested people are criminally negligent,” the source said.

Davido’s Son: Osun PDP Suspends Political Activities To Show Respect
Following the bereavement affecting a son of the Adeleke family, Davido, the Osun state Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended political activities for the week.
State Caretaker Chairman , Dr Adekunle Akindele in a condolence message to the Adeleke family directed all party organs and committees to suspend activities in commiseration with the family, describing the incident as “a very sad occurrence.
“We mourn the sorrowful exit of our son, Ifeanyi. We pray for the repose of his soul. It is a sad day but we remain steadfast in our faith in the Lord of the Universe.
“Our condolence goes to Davido, our youth ambassador. We commiserate with our father figure, Dr Deji Adeleke and the entire Adeleke family. We pray the good Lord grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss”, the statement concluded.
