Naziru Sani, a 21-year-old accused terrorist who works for Bello Turji, a prominent terrorist on the police wanted list for terrorism, has admitted to killing over 20 people in multiple strikes across Nigeria’s northwest.
Sani, a native of Makera Village in Zamfara State’s Tsafe Local Government Area, was apprehended by the police near Jabiri Quarters in Funtua LGA, Katsina, based on a reliable intelligence information, according to SP Gambo.

“I have been participating in community attacks under the instructions of my boss, Turji, and I have killed over 20 people in the past, but I have repented today,” the suspect claims.

“I am Bello Turji’s boy,” Sani explained in Hausa. “I worked under his supervision.”
“I ran for my life from the Jangebe forest in Zamfara, where Turji is currently hibernating.
“While I was trying to escape to Suleja, Niger State, where my parents live, I was arrested by the police.

“We are many,” Sani answered when asked how many of them were under Turji’s command and how much they are paid for each attack.
I don’t have a precise figure, but we’re in our hundreds, and after each operation, I collect between N20,000 and N30,000.”
“Based on solid intelligence, the command succeeded in arresting Naziru Sani of Makera village, Tsafe LGA of Zamfara state, a known bandit terrorizing Katsina and its surroundings,” SP Gambo Isah told the press.
The culprit was apprehended after Nemesis caught Up with him when a team of police officers patrolled Jabiri Quarters in the state’s Funtua LGA.
During the investigation, the suspect admitted to being under the command of “BELLO TURJI,” who has been on the command’s wanted list and has been involved in numerous attacks on innocent towns in Katsina, Zamfara, and Sokoto states, killing a large number of people.
