Terrorists are in desperate need of basic items like medications and seasonings, among other things. To obtain them, they rely on a network of coerced and consenting collaborators and suppliers.
They occasionally pay more than twice the market price for it, which encourages additional eager collaborators to join them.
Many more of these collaborators have been apprehended by forces, particularly in Soye, which could indicate that it serves as a link or exchange point between the former and the terrorists.
It would be recalled that a few weeks ago, it was reported that several of Boko Haram terrorists were shot dead in the village after purchasing supplies for delivery to their hideouts in the bushes.
