The Civilian Joint Task Force under the command of Saminu Audu (Commander of intelligence) in collaboration with gallant troops of the Nigerian army has arrested over 14 suspected Boko Haram logistics suppliers with jerrycans of fuel around Here axis in Maiduguri, Borno State.
See Photos below;

The arrest of these logistics providers of Boko Haram is indeed a huge achievement for security forces battling insurgency in the Northeast. This is down to the fact that the recent scale of insurgent attacks can be attributed to the operations of Boko Haram informants, Boko Haram logistics suppliers, sympathizers, and certain sleeper cells that have become active and are residing among the residents.
Below are more photos from the recent arrest;

This year alone we’ve recorded over 50 Boko Haram attacks in the Northeastern part of the country, some of which were successfully repelled by gallant troops of the Nigerian army.

However, there were some unfortunate situations where the dreaded Islamic terrorists were able to ambush and overrun some army bases, killing security agents in the process.

It is safe to say that the recent increase in Boko Haram/ISWAP attacks can be tied down to logistics supplies and active sleeper cells living amongst the people in the society.
For this reason, the Nigerian security forces needs to focus on increasing intelligence gathering in the affected communities. This should yield positive results.
