Assistant Inspector-General of (Police AIG) Audu Madaki was allegedly injured yesterday while his orderly died from gunshot wounds when bandits attacked their vehicle along Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.
Exclusive information obtained by AIT NEWS indicates that the attack took place on Tuesday afternoon at Barde Zangidi along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway.
According to AIT, although details of the attack remains sketchy, AIG Madaki, who’s in charge of Zone ’12’ Police Command which covers Bauchi and Gombe States was reportedly shot in the leg while his orderly was shot dead.

He’s said to have been taken to the hospital for treatment. The report also revealed that Zone 12 Police Command spokesperson, Thomas Goni said he had not yet received information on the attack.
As at the time of filing this report, Force Public Relations Officer CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, was yet to respond to calls or reply messages in regards to the attack on police AIG Madaki and his orderly.
