Nigerian security operatives killed two armed bandits in Zamfara.

Security operatives intercepted an attempted kidnapping along the Tsafe-Funtua route in Zamfara State, killing two armed bandits in the process.

According to reports, the two armed bandits were neutralized by police in Zamfara on Tuesday evening while attempting to block the Futua-Gusau road in the Tsafe Local Government Area.

According to the police, the armed bandits in Zamfara allegedly attacked the roadway on seven brand new boxer motorcycles. They planned to abduct unsuspecting travelers and other road users.

Brand new boxer motorcycles, live ammunition, and mobile phones were among the items confiscated from the criminals.

Armed gunmen blocked the Futua-Gusau route three days ago and abducted an unknown number of people, among whom the police freed twenty-nine people, including pregnant women and nursing mothers.
