Are you dating a psychopath
Psychopaths look like you and me, but there’s one big difference: They don’t have a conscience. They can harm others with absolutely no sense of remorse or guilt. The good news is that there are red flags that can help you identify a psychopath early on in a relationship. The signs has always been there, you just need to know what they are. It’s vital to get out of a toxic relationship with a psychopath.
Below are some of the signs to look for if you think you might be dating a psychopath.
1- You feel like you have no voice.
You feel like you have no voice when you’re holding an important conversation with you partner and you feel like you are never heard because they just don’t listen. It’s like you are talking to a brick wall. When they do choose to listen, your words are often taken out of context or used against you.
2- They are constantly lying and making excuses.
Another clear sign that your partner might be a psychopath is constant lying. There is always an excuse for everything, even things that don’t require excusing. They make up lies faster than you can question them. They constantly blame others—it is never their fault. They spend more time rationalizing their behavior than improving it. Even when caught in a lie, they express no remorse or embarrassment.

3- They trap you.
As part of that accelerated relationship, they will make sure you are controlled so it would be very difficult for you to escape whether this be through joint bank accounts or moving in with you immediately.
4- They don’t seem to have many, if any, friends of their own.
Since psychopaths lack empathy and compassion, it’s impossible for them to make platonic connections in the way normal people do. Because of their self-focus, they don’t get along well with others. They have problems sustaining healthy, satisfying relationships, so they tend to seek positions of authority where they can work over, rather than beside, colleagues.
5- Silent treatment.
Once psychopaths have you hooked after the “love bombing” and “idealization” phase, they then begin to devalue you. The first step in that is usually to give you the silent treatment over something. Psychopaths are also known to disappear for days at a time. Be sure, the silent treatment and disappearing act will be laid squarely at your feet. In reality, he is off sizing up his next target somewhere.
