The South African Police Service have announced the arrest of a 40-year-old woman who was accused of conspiring to have her husband killed.
The SAPS said in a statement that a joint operation executed by members of Provincial Organised Crime and Kimberley Crime Intelligence led to the arrest of a 40-year-old woman who allegedly conspired to have her husband murdered.

On Sunday, May 15, 2022, the 40-year-old woman who allegedly hired hitmen to assassinate her estranged husband was arrested at the Indian Centre in Kimberley.
The squad completed the arrest with the help of agents posing as hitmen after a week of intelligence collection and monitoring.
The wife allegedly wanted the hitmen to kidnap and kill her husband and agreed to give them a large sum of money following the purported hit.
While negotiating with the hitmen, the woman was apprehended and arrested.
On Monday, May 16, 2022, she is scheduled to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court, South Africa on a charge of murder conspiracy.
