According to a news report by Nigerian Tribune, the police in Plateau State have paraded a young man named Moses Okon, who is suspected of killing Miss Jennifer Anthony, a 300 level student of Unijos, in a hotel in Jos, Plateau State, recently for ritual.

Last week, Miss Jenifer Anthony was reportedly lured into a hotel by her boyfriend Moses Okon, who was also a student of the University of Jos’ Zoology department, and brutally murdered.

The suspect, Moses Okon allegedly sedated the late Jennifer Anthony and used various instruments to remove her eyes and other important body parts before fleeing the hotel after the heinous act.

Mr Batholomew Onyeka, Plateau State Commissioner of Police, revealed that Moses Okon the suspected killer of Miss Jenifer Anthony, whose lifeless body was discovered mutilated on new year day at Domus Pacis Guest House in Jos has been captured.

“The man aged 20 years, suspected to be her boyfriend fled after committing the crime,” says the police chief in Jos
“The Command in a bid to arrest the perpetrator launched an aggressive manhunt on the suspect and tactically trailed him to Benue State where he was arrested by hawked-eye police operatives of the Command,” he said.
He stated that the suspect will be arraigned in court as soon as the inquiry is done, and requested members of the public to contact the command if they have any other information on how the incident occurred.

The commissioner of Police also revealed that policemen of the Command were also able to rescue Mrs Tabitha Silas Vem, wife of the Plateau State Government House’s Deputy Chief of Staff, and one Dr Samuel Audu’m’ of Plateau State’s Barkin Ladi region, who had earlier been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
It would be recalled that yesterday Gallant Military Info reported that unknown gunmen abducted the wife of the state’s deputy chief of staff and one other person.
According to the police chief, on Tuesday at around 11:00 a.m., a joint team of Police operatives and other security agencies rushed and combed the bushes near Sho Village in a rescue operation and rescued the victims unharmed.
