Otuyalo was remanded in prison over his alleged involvement in internet scam of around £45,000.

Oyaleke, who has been assigned to Justice Uche Agomoh’s court, is in charge of producing defendants sentenced to prison.

The officer failed to appear in court on December 2, 2021, the date set for the start of Otuyalo’s trial.

He stated that the NCoS in Oyo State was working with necessary agencies to ensure that the re-arrest was carried out. Justice Agomoh postponed the hearing to June 29, 2022.

Otuyalo is charged with five counts of internet fraud and has pleaded “not guilty.”

One of the counts is in violation of Section 15 (2) (d) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act, 2011 (amended), which is punishable under Section 15 (3).
