Who Then Is John Cena?

John Cena, whose full name is John Felix Anthony Cena, Jr. was born on April 23, 1977, in West Newbury, Massachusetts, United States.

He’s a professional wrestler, an actor (with many movies to his name), and author who rose to prominence in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) organization before going on to star in films and books.

How It All Began For Cena.

Cena began lifting weights as a child and eventually decided to pursue a bodybuilding career.

He graduated from Springfield College in Massachusetts with a degree in exercise physiology in 1998. He was encouraged to pursue wrestling instruction after relocating to California. Cena grew up watching professional wrestling, and his father, Johnny Fabulous, worked as an announcer for the Massachusetts-based entertainment sport.

In the year 2000, Cena debuted in professional wrestling as “The Prototype.”

John Cena’s Acting Career.

Cena began acting while he was still a wrestler.

Movies like; The Marine (2006), 12 Rounds (2009), The Reunion (2011), F9: The Fast Saga, and The Suicide Squad were among his feature films (both 2021).

John Cena’s Fashion Style.

Cena has dressed in an attempt to match the most current clothes and styling within the hip hop culture that his character represents throughout his WWE career. Cena began wearing “throwback jerseys” until WWE created Cena-specific clothing, which he began to wear.

One of Cena’s WWE-produced T-shirts included the suggestive spoonerism “Ruck Fules” while he was a member of the SmackDown brand. The image was censored whenever it appeared on television, not by the network, but by WWE in order to sell more shirts under the pretense that it was “too spicy for TV.”

Until WrestleMania 21, he also sported a chain with a massive padlock, which he occasionally used as a weapon, until it was replaced with a chromed and diamond studded “Chain Gang” necklace.

Elbow Grease, was Cena’s first book. It’s a children’s book about a monster truck, and it was released in 2018.

He recently released a self-help books titled ‘Be a Work in Progress’: And ‘Other Things I’d Like to Tell My Younger Self’ and ‘Do Your Best Every Day to Do Your Best Every Day’: Encouraging Words from John Cena all in 2021, the latter of which was aimed towards younger readers.

John Cena As A Musician.

Cena is a rapper in addition to his wrestling career. He sang “Basic Thuganomics,” his fifth WWE theme song, which was included on the WWE Originals soundtrack CD. He also recorded “Untouchables” for WWE ThemeAddict: The Music, Vol. 6, the company’s next soundtrack album. Along with Murs, E-40, and Chingo Bling, he worked on a remix for the song “H-U-S-T-L-E.”

You Can’t See Me, Cena’s debut album, was recorded alongside his cousin Tha Trademarc. It includes songs such as his entrance theme, “The Time is Now,” and the single “Bad, Bad Man,” which was accompanied by a music video parodying 1980s culture, including The A-Team. On the August 8, 2005 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, a video for the second single, “Right Now,” was released. Cena and Tha Trademarc were later featured on “Champion Scratch” by The Perceptionists. T-CD, Boz’s Still Cool, featured Cena.

In October 2014, Cena collaborated with rapper Wiz Khalifa on two tracks for the WWE 2K15 video game’s soundtrack, “All Day” and “Breaks.”

The Reason Many People Think Cena Served In The Military.

Cena has a long history with the military, ever since he starred in a 2006 movie, “The Marine,” which earned him the nickname, “John Cena The Marine.”

Cena’s wrestling persona also pulls from military garb and culture throughout his career, which is another reason why many people assume he has a military background.

He salutes before entering the wrestling ring to show respect for those who serve, in addition to the apparel he wears during his performances.

He is also a staunch supporter of the military. Cena has also utilized his celebrity as one of WWE’s top stars to forge strong bonds with military personnel.

John Cena was there at the first edition of WWE’s ‘Tribute to the Military,’ which is held once a year to honor American troops serving overseas. During their visit, John Cena and his colleagues had the opportunity to meet with a number of top-ranking US military officials.
